Summer Around the House. All Spruced Up.

I love my little blue spruce and the many different shades of blue and green that different light produces. These images were mostly blue light when it was cool enough to go outside. Most of my favorite macro images involve selective focus and lots of blur. I did a few with a small aperture and I liked the broader focus enough to go further in that direction with focus stacking. It's been a fun project.
Golden light makes the color a pale blue green.
It was dark and almost rainy which produced a nice blue color.
This photo and the next one are about five or six photos each focus stacked. Early sunlight.
After shooting the two photos above I wasn't sure that I remembered the steps to stack them. I researched a little and discovered that my camera does in camera focus stacks. I was skeptical but decided to try it out. I walked out on the patio, high noon, bad light, etc. and pointed at my little spruce. It took forty three photos which I blended to create the next image. If the subject is still every pixel is in perfect focus.
More blue light stacks.

There is an old wagon wheel with deer sheds on it about five feet behind the spruce. I was amazed to see it in perfect focus peeking through the branches.
