DARK MATTER (The space in between)
An audiovisual performance by ROOR (@ROOR.AV)
The project was inspired by the Dark Matter theory studied by astronomer Vera Rubin.
It explores in a synesthetic and poetic way the boundaries between the visible and the invisible, the real with the mysterious, the spatial with the earthly, the science with the art.
The images for this artwork are generated from musical sound waves in order to give them visibility and thus be able to appreciate them.
However, these same images invite the viewer to focus attention on the interstices, the darkness, the space in between... the dark matter.
The objective of the project is to investigate and study a scientific phenomenon to transform it into an audiovisual artistic work
