Designing for The StarCraft Observer brand was one of the most rewarding projects to work for. Starting with the request to make the design which came out of an interview for the podcast. 

I wanted something that would really encompass the client's vision of the podcast being "something bigger" than himself.

Because there are also other games contemplated under "The Observer" umbrella, I created this icon in collaboration with the client. This is a direct visual abstraction of the observer unit in StarCraft 2.
