In the year 2001 the Mária Valéria bridge was reopened between two border towns: Štúrovo (Slovakia) and Esztergom (Hungary). My diploma project from 2010 aims to create the Hungarian pair of the existing Bridge Guard House located in Sturovo, on the other side of river Danube.
The aim of the organization is to tighten the two countries, through overwriting the differences between people, cultures, habits. The house serves a triple function: a residence, a studio and an exhibition room for the artists.
