PACKAGING A PRODUCT FOR TOURISM

We were tasked to design a packaging for tourists that would represent the culture of Singapore. Emphasis was stressed on the research and analysis of unique local cultures and heritage that could uniquely represent Singapore.

Coming up with something unique that represents Singapore.

To me, that's Kiasu-ism.

It originated from a Hokkien dialect, it can be literally translated as "afraid of losing out or not getting the best". Kiasu behaviour in Singapore is manifested in everyday situations.
