This is another in a series of experimental projects, all looking at incorporating artistic/impressionistic effects in short video clips. The original footage used here was shot at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City. The single artistic effect was added by batch processing the individual frames in Photoshop, using a third-party plug-in (Xycod's PostworkShop). And then re-rendering the output image sequence (in After Effects).
It's generally the case that fully auto-filtered outputs are "subject-specific" for still images - but normally what works well for formal portraiture will be acceptable for images taken featuring landscapes, street scenes, etc. (plus art gallery foyers ...).
