Last year in July 2012, a fellow who is part of Narcotics Anonymous commissioned me to design some art for his group’s fundraising event t-shirts. It was incredibly fun to work on and he liked it so much that he sent me my own shirt! I'm very happy my first commission was such a great experience and success.
Above is my original design that I created for the commission. Below are photos of my design on the actual shirt. The fellow who commissioned me was asked by his event committee to add some additional text, so he arranged that part. He also is well-versed in graphic shirt art, so he spared me from having to figure out printing methods and how to realize the design as an actual functioning shirt. I am told these shirts were created via dye-sublimation printing.
