Group effort for ANDC '19, seeking to document a rural village employing a minimum of four social production factors.
We experienced the culturally rich Uppada village in Andhra Pradesh, India. We carefully analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of the area while building upon the opportunities that arose. The social and commercial activities that were already interwoven, were also amalgamated spatiotemporally.
The design proposal highlights the spatial qualities and functionality of the village, by providing various design interventions for a holistic optimization.
