Personal Challenge: Complete the client's request and showcase my own artistic vision, at the same time.
They literally said we "Want our logo to look like a Superman logo." When I as a graphic designer hear a client say something like, I cringe. Why? You may ask.
Other artists and designers may know this, but this is not fun for us to do! It's taking the client provided 72dpi and 25px x 25px logo, that I didn't create and mashing into a well known logo that the client is basically asking you to steal. Plus, the artist being asked to make this horrible Frankenstein creation, usually doesn't get to show any ability or skill with something like this. Because the previous two logos are already well established.
Well, I think I completed my personal challenge. Here you see revision 2, and I liked it enough to include in my portfolio.
