The Ostrota symbolizes the evolution of humankind, going from rough stone to precision steel. The trigger for the project was a request from the Derren company, an expert in steels and alloys, to develop the unique accessory using patterned high-quality steel. Despite its unusual appearance, the knife can be used as a functional tool for small household chores, sharpening pencils, and opening mail packaging. The design is based on the uniqueness of the damask steel pattern and the natural relief of a stone knife handle. For exhibiting the blade, it is equipped with a minimalist design stand.
