LP Remake- Music for the Jilted Generation

THE PRODIGY - MUSIC FOR THE JILTED GENERATION (LP COVER REMAKE)
For this brief I was tasked with remaking a record cover and centre stickers for an album from XL Records in which I chose The Prodigy's - Music for the Jilted Generation album. The album already had a lot of meaning behind it which was a great starting point for me.
The album was essentially rebelling against the government and society in 1994 as the laws on raves were to be change causing 'kill the bill' protests. my concept was based upon the idea of the younger generation drowning in empty promises from the government and day to day life in 1994. The hands coming up out of the water represents unsettling of calm waters with the police/government as the younger generation were prepared to rebel e.g., the protests in Hyde Park (1994). The song ‘Their Law’ also reiterates this.
