    2013, A 2000 sf space in Soho was transformed into the new Sass+Bide flagship store. The main gesture was created by a gigantic driftwood-inspired sculpture. The form was developed through many iterations of both clay and digital modeling. The finalized digital model was translated into production through computer-routed ribs which created the underlying forms for the structural armature. Steel chicken wire was built up as a foundation for fiberglass soaked fabric pieces that created exterior skin of the form. The piece was then sliced up, disassembled, and installed on site by a team of extremely talented sculptures and fabricators. Read Less
