Köprüaltının getirdiği karanlık, basık ve tanımsız atmosferin yıkılması amacıyla doğadaki parazit formlardan esinlenilerek var olan betonu sarmalayan ve kaplayan, esnek ve organik bir tasarıma gidilmiştir. Betonun zihinlerdeki soğuk, katı ve gri imajının yıkılması amacıyla tasarım, malzemenin izin verdiği ölçüde geçirgen ve yeşil olarak tasarlanmıştır. Concrete Jungle, modüler bir sistemle kendi içinde eklemlenip zamanla büyüyecek ve mevcut beton yapıları sararak alanı ele geçirecektir. Böylece, eklenen yenilikçi tasarım ve mevcut geleneksel beton uygulamalarla oluşturduğu zıtlık bir arada deneyimlenebilecektir.
The purpose of the design is change the dark, dreary and undefinied atmosphere of under the bridge by inspried parasite forms in nature.For this reason project is designed by organic modules which are flexible and repeateble. Plants and transparent materials are choisen for the demolished of concrete’s gray,solid and cold image in minds. Project is designed as permeable and green as the potantial of materials. The Project will grow day by day and eventually take over the area by wrapping the existing concrete sturctures.As a result,users will be able to experience old and new structures at the same time.
