Asking Gee | Branding
Asking Gee Co., Ltd. is an international visual creative company founded by the visual artist,
Asking Gee, established in Taipei, Taiwan. They specialize in VJ, visual design, and music video production. Grandvity has created a new identity for Asking Gee Co., that captures their expertise as well as light beams, a vital medium.
The new logo incorporates light beams and her initials, “AG” into the Chinese character Gee, “紀”. However, the proportions of "紀" and "AG" are different; if you adapt to either Chinese or the English completely, the logo will be off balance. Through meticulous calculations, we found the perfect ratio "3:2".
The square shape of this logo references a screen, using digital and technological patterns to convey the brand characteristics "destroy, construction, reorganization." Conveying moving images as a static brand identity, giving unlimited imagination and personalized logo.
