Visualizations of TUM Boring's tunnel boring machine to participate in Elon Musk's Not-a-Boring-Competition in summer 2021.  

TUM Boring is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the future of mobility. The group of more than 60 students from various fields at Technical University of Munich sees tunnels as a technology destined for disruption and wants to shape the future of tunneling with innovative concepts. Currently, TUM Boring aims to build the world’s fastest tunnel boring machine (TBM) and is competing in Elon Musk’s Not-a-Boring Competition together with the Technical University of Munich. The team was selected from nearly 400 teams worldwide as one of 12 finalists to compete in the race in the US this summer.

For their first public launch event in July 2021, Skeno supported the initiative in creating animations and stills.
