The Monasteries of Meteora
Found by a monk from mount Athos in 14th century. A cluster of rocks in Meteora contains over 20 Monasteries, wich only 6 survived and are still lived by monks till this day. Near the monasteries there is a icon museum, where people are making hand made icons that present saint people. A lot of greeks own icons and store them at their work place or at home, they hope that icons will protect them and their families from evil.
