(Healthcare) Blue Cross Blue Shield Illinois
Blue Cross Blue Shield provides healthcare coverage to members, allowing them to live free of worry, free of fear. In every ZIP code, Blue Cross Blue Shield offers a personalized approach to healthcare based on the needs of the communities where their members live and work.
Business requirement: Promote and educate non BCBS members about insurance basics using iconography.
Parties involved: Visual designer, creative design director, front-end developer, business analyst, internal stakeholder.
Timeline: 1 month
Tools used: Sketch/Zeplin
Design process: In this creative, I worked closely with all the parties involved and held visual design meetings twice a week as out timeline was for one month. We didn’t have a dedicated UX architect was it was a more straightforward page. The stakeholder had a requirement of adding iconography on the page so that we can better educate the consumer with the corresponding content.
For the development process, I uploaded my sketch artboard to Zeplin and the developer was able to pull all the icons, styles, and colors which made it easier for the developer to deliver the landing page within our timeline of 1 month.
The end goal is to get the consumer to shop for an insurance plan once the consumer is educated on insurance basics.
