Johannes Hevelius was the first astronomer to map the moon. His illustrations of constellations from his Selenographia 1647 are still used to this today. The U.S. Naval Observatory’s Library is currently restoring these illustrations for public use. I created this table-top calendar with the dates on one side and a brief caption on the flip side.
