KDHX and the Folk School approached me about helping with event graphics and branding for the Saint Louis Folk & Roots Festival. This year the festival was held in Grand Center, in Midtown, Saint Louis, so I thought it would be fun to incorporate a distinictly urban vibe and contrast that with 19th century-style ornamentation, as well as the organic form of the tree. The centerpiece of the branding lies in the poster, and from there I extrapolated that look to the rest of the pieces, some of which are shown below.
