Karmasapien is dedicated to giving back.   Founder, Eric Tilden's ultimate goal is to create a community of people passionate about giving back, helping provide funding for nonprofits around the local community through the sale of graphic tees.   Eric approached our team in need of a strong brand, visual identity, relevant t-shirt designs and a website where all the magic would happen.
 
We started by establishing a strong brand identity.   Our creative team worked with the word "sapien" and how it references early stages of mankind. It felt right to incorporate early forms of expression into the brand. After some research, our team was inspired to create a visual identity that incorporated warm earthy tones that conveyed an approachable and humble feel that would help support Karmsapien’s brand voice. By referencing cave drawings in the brand mark, we established a visual link to basic human expression and its connection to community and storytelling in the logo design.
 
Zachary Graber, one of our designers, had the opportunity to flex his illustration and typographic muscles by creating custom t-shirt designs every week.  Each shirt was designed based on the values, voice and mission of the chosen non-profit for that week. The Karmasapien imagery brought to life Tilden's vision. The photography displayed on the website demonstrates the 'feel good, do good' personality of the company's brand and visual identity.

Finally, Karmsapien's website combined an elegant interface  with a strong visual identity to create a solid online presence.  The user interface makes it just as simple for the audience to shop for the products on their phones as they do on their desktops. The site demonstrates the brand's purpose and personality, allowing easy navigation and a beautiful stage for each week’s non-profit.
