Canine Unit 341 consists of video and photographs taken during of a motion capture session with a Chicago Police Department german shepherd. Motion Capture imaging is used to map out digital motion for animation or medical purposes. Photographs and a forthcoming video contain an inquiry into surrogacies, human-animal relations, biotechnologies, and weaponization. The white capture markers on the dogs black fur are a kind of boundary between the cultural position of the german shepherd and the virtual field of image making.
