Mathos Loreley is a brand that produces a variety of baby products. We aimed to encourage children's continued interest by incorporating elements that children like into the form of the product to enable familiar use. We approached it from the perspective of a user using an existing infant teether, discovered the shortcomings and problems, and attempted to resolve these issues. Our goal was to create products of a familiar brand not only in terms of aesthetics but also through user experience.

We set two themes to deliver familiar experiences to children and proceeded with the design. Since it is a product that is close to hygiene, it is designed to stand on the floor so that the part that touches the mouth does not touch the floor so that it can be used more hygienically. It is a product that protects children’s health through design considering their dental development and hygienic use.

Mathos Loreley는 다양한 유아용품과 관련된 제품을 만드는 브랜드입니다. 아이들이 좋아하는 요소들을 제품의 조형에 대입하여 친숙한 사용이 가능하도록 하여 아이들의 지속적인 관심을 유도하고자 하였습니다. 기존 유아 치발기를 사용하는 사용자적 관점으로 접근하여 단점과 문제점들을 발견하여 이 부분들을 해결하고자 하였습니다. 심미적인 부분 뿐만 아니라 사용자적 경험을 통해 친숙한 브랜드의 제품을 만들어 내는것을 목표로 하였습니다.

아이에게 친숙한 경험을 전달할 수 있도록 두가지의 테마를 설정하여 디자인을 진행하였습니다. 위생과 밀접한 제품이기에 바닥에 세워 놓을 수 있도록 디자인하여 입에 닿는 부분이 바닥에 닿지 않게하여 보다 더 위생적인 사용이 가능하도록 하였습니다. 아이의 치아 발육과 위생적인 사용을 고려한 디자인을 통해 아이들의 건강을 지켜주는 제품이 되어줍니다.

In order to deliver a familiar and pleasant experience to children, we developed an idea that substituted two themes using candy and animals. We proceeded with the design based on the consideration of the user experience along with the aesthetic.

아이들에게 친숙하고, 기분좋은 경험을 전달하기 위하여 캔디와 동물을 활용한 두가지의 테마를 대입한 아이디어를 전개하였습니다. 심미적인 부분과 함께 사용자적 경험을 고려를 우선으로 하여 디자인을 진행하였습니다.

Mathos Loreley's teether can be used hygienically because it is not often dropped by wearing it around the wrist, so it can be used hygienically. Also, it is hygienic because the part that touches the mouth doesn't touch the floor with a standable design. It stimulates the child's gums with various specially designed protrusions and fine grooves to help the child's teeth develop when teeth start to grow.

Unlike ordinary baby teethers, it is designed so that the part that fits on the wrist can be placed on the floor, so the part that touches the mouth does not touch the floor, so we considered more hygienic use.

‘Mathos Loreley’의 치발기는 손목에 끼는 방식으로 떨어뜨릴 경우가 적어 위생적으로 사용이 가능합니다. 또한, 세워놓을 수 있는 디자인으로 입에 닿은 부분이 바닥에 닿는 일이 적어 위생적입니다. 특수 제작된 다양한 돌기와 파인 홈으로 아이 잇몸을 자극해 이가 나기 시작하는 아이의 치아발육에 도움을 줍니다.

보통의 유아용 치발기와 달리 손목에 끼는 부분을 바닥에 세워놓을 수 있도록 디자인하여 입에 닿는 부분이 바닥에 닿지 않아 보다 더 위생적인 사용을 고려하였습니다.
