The owner of the greengrocer I work for, Kenya Kuroki, asked me to paint his handmaded cajon. The theme of painting was "Latin", so I drew it with a fictitious Latin orchestra as a motif. The member names and the song titles of the fictitious Latin group were created with motifs such as Kumamoto, the birthplace of Mr. Kuroki, and his memories.

 

 

私の働いている八百屋の店主、黒木健也氏から、自作のカホンのペイントを依頼されて描いたもの。絵柄のテーマは「ラテン」とのことだったので、架空のラテン楽団をモチーフとして描いてみた。メンバー名や、架空の楽曲のタイトルは、黒木氏の生まれ故郷である熊本やその思い出などをモチーフにして創作。
