Static long shot and dynamic shot
A static shot in film is a shot that is devoid of camera movement. Also known as a locked-off shot, or an immobile shot. The frame can be filled with the movement of vehicles, characters, props, weather, etc. but the frame itself does not move in a static shot. The opposite of a static camera shot, a shot in which the camera moves, is known as a dynamic shot. A shot cannot be both static and dynamic, the two terms are diametrically opposed. You can think of static shots and dynamic shots as two families that all other types of shots fall within. Establishing shots, closeups, POVs, etc., can all be shot either static or dynamic. Shot types that involve movement are,  impossible to execute as a static shot,There’s no such thing as a static tracking shot or a static dolly shot.
Vertov, Dziga the Man with the Movie Camera (1929).
In order to better understand the point of view shot, I started to analyze different part of a movie The Man with the Movie Camera directed by Vertov Dziga in 1929. The whole film is very short, but it has a lot of interesting film skills.
The first part of the lens 5s to 20s are static shots, this part of the train shot outside the window can be seen that the speed change effect, but are static shooting, the lens is relatively stable. When it comes to the second part, 20s-37s. The lens suddenly becomes fast and fast, and the moving effect of the lens is very substitutive. And through different lens changes, make people breathe nervous, this effect brings a lot of charm to the film and is worth learning. In the last part, I saw different camera flicker switching, camera following movement and movie acceleration give people a strong sense of excitement, coupled with the character movement, the whole film is shot around camera acceleration. I learned a lot of shooting skills in this short film and applied it to my own work.
My Film.
In my movie, I filmed my day at the gym and expressed my ideas and suggestions that I wanted to tell people that they should care about their health and start working out. In the first part of my lens movement, I  learned from Vertov Dziga's film to adjust the speed to make the next step of the lens transition more natural and ingenious. Then there is the method of following the character movement, and I also use a static shot to make the story told in my film more profound, because the charm of static shooting is to record the motion in the frame of the shot. so I used static shots for most of the rest of the shot. But in some fitness movements, my shooting methods also have different changes. In 52s-1.24s, my lens follows the movement of the action using the method of following the camera, following the movement of the characters. I think this method has a better effect on the film and makes the story told by the film more profound. Music I chose the music that suits my video. Having a sense of motivation to better express the story I want to express can make the plot more profound. And I have added different sound sources to the music, all of which are inspired by different top fitness players to the fitness crowd. This is the film I made after my study. I hope to make more progress in the future.
