Here is the first concept design i came up with for the re-designing of the course prospectus. After producing two typographical front cover ideas, i then decided to take a more graphical approach to the rest of my designs. As shown above i have tried to create an abstract feel to my work, leaving the audience in two minds as to what the design is and represents.

From my previous design, i developed on the idea of using geometric circles as the main focus of my design. i created this effect by layering multiple circles on top of each other and slightly lowered the opacity to create the effect above. To create the colour aspect, i used the colour splash from my previous design and incorporated it within this piece. The colour within the piece adds further depth and texture to the design.

After looking at the two previous designs, i came to the conclusion that the colours featured within the design should be more eye-catching in order to make the design successful. I then developed my design further making the colour the main focal point of my design, by heightening the contrast of the colour against the white it allows the digital design to be the main focus within my design. By using bright contrasting colours, the target audience are easily drawn towards the main design within the piece. i feel that this design is successful in comparison to my first design as the colours are more appealing and the lack of text creates an open image ready for minimal type to be added at a later date.
