A Divided Man
I created the painting in a period of mental restlessness and uncertainty.
It shows the interface between the need for sobriety and constant drunkenness, between the desire to live and the need for suicide.
I was hesitant whether to continue my artistic work in life, I was hesitant in which direction to go further and whether I wanted to choose somewhere at all.
So, as is my custom, I repeatedly reshaped the image.
I tried to find the right compromise in painting and in life.
