Keybase, a restyled brand identity

This rebranding is just a conceptual project.

After 5 months of using the platform, I couldn't help noticing some problems I had, as a user, to identify what exactly happened when using Keybase.

So I decided to dig deeper into the platform and develop a completely redesigned identity concept, with more elegant features that would make Keybase as user-friendly a platform as its competitors.

A new logo was created using a custom typography. Also as a big step in the search for something simple and memorable, orange was defined as the primary color. There was also the replacement of the symbol for another uncomplicated, aiming at strengthening the brand.

After testing different types of typography several times, I realized that this redesign deserved something unique. So I created a custom version of the famous Poppins font, with some of its edges smoothed proportionately.

Customizing a lightweight version of the same font, I was able to create versions of the logo to separate the platform's subprojects/systems.

Responsive, the logo is ready to use without the available space being an issue.

A new symbol was developed, aiming at simplicity and adaptability to any type of use.

The symbol has also been optimized for reductions like app or favicon

In addition to the logo, the custom font is also used for texts and titles, enabling the creation of materials with a unique identity.

Introducing a new color palette, which maintains the traditional blue and orange, but which adds other tones in order to provide greater legibility within the platforms.

There was a redesign of the existing icons on the platform, but new models were also developed.

Mobile and desktop platforms were also redesigned.

The site also got a new look.

For the company's communication, the photographic style is inspired by people who experience the internet as a constant work environment, but also by those who seek to guarantee more privacy.
