Blockbusters Rebrand

Blockbuster Rebrand (2018)
During my second year of university I was tasked with rebranding any failed business of my choice. My decision was to bring Blockbuster back but as a memorabilia shop.
"Bringing this back as a memorabilia store will relieve the companies long standing pressure to succeed and with it's already strong customer base, it will connect more with it's audience than ever before'"
I created a relaxing yet modern design with a simple serif typeface. The letter B uses two different forms of brackets. The square bracket to act as the back of the B but the front is a Brace bracket. Not only does it it form the front of the letter but a Brace bracket is used to generalise a list of different things. Just like how a memorabilia shop tends to stock a variety of different products.
