In 2017 I was asked by Hoopa (an Iranian publishing company) to join an illustration project to redesign the Iranian version of an internationally known board game: Citadels. (Created by Bruno Faidutti). 

So I tried to find and create a new look (for the game cards consisting of characters and environments) based on ancient Persian (Iranian) style. My aim was to create kind of a visual style being somewhere between original style of Citadels game and Persian style.

The result was appreciated by Brunno Faidutti and it is a great reward for me.
