Lampshade Solid is a aluminum lampshade with a diameter of 35 cm and a hight of aproximately 16cm. The lamp-shade has a rather industrial yet futuristic look.
When you look at the “solid” from a side angle, you’ll see a industrial looking shade; but when you stand underneath the lamp shade en look inside it you’ll find that the facets of the shade form a star.
It captures the light inside it’s shell. The Aluminum facets reflect the light in differtent angles and this togheter with using a lightbulb with a warm light color makes that the inside of the lamp shade seems to sparkle in warm gold.
Industrial, yet warm and cosy, that’s what I wanted the “solid” to be.
