Many have fond memories of reading comics as we grew up. This is part of a seriesdedicated to Marvel villains.
In my early teens, I would copy entire pages of comic books, and learned a lot from the various artists. Having long since moved on to the point where my sketchbooks are filled with material drawn my imaginatio, I still occasionally tap back into the Universes i found in that early age of experimentation.
For this series i took an old sketchbook scan (8 yearsish?) and decided to update and complete the characters with my current ability and toolset.

A few crops of the detail. I intend on completing the layouts of the other villains before I color the backgrounds, as some of the Villains will share locations.
Strong Guy lifting the Sentinel thigh from Quicksilver's legs as The Scarlett Witch attempts to heal him using Hex powers.
Profesor Xavier telepathically linked to Magneto and Forge. Using Forge's intuitive talent at inventing Prof. X is telepathically projecting the directions to Magneto to dismantle and re-proogram the sentinels.
After a few unsatisfactory shots at frehanding the Sentinels, i created 3d models of them. This enabled me to reduce the organic look and achieve an asthetic closer to what I had in mind. The hard details and angles, as is true with most Mecha, lent themselves well to 3d modeling.
In order to save time and I am trying to model or draw only what is needed for the piece,
so no pelvic area for the Sentinel... for now. I really want to see it fly in and land.
