During the 16 week course of my graduation project at Katran Kalaa, I worked as a ‘Product Designer’ as a part of the Product Development Team. The team consisted of three final year design students, including me, who worked under the guidance of the Design Head.

Research - Extensive market research for the chosen product category and analysing gaps and opportunities for katran kalaa as a brand.
Conducting surveys and interviews for primary user research.
Compiling data and deriving key points for the design team to work upon.

Design Process - Articulating design brief for the collection design and breaking it down for helping the product design process. Ideating and developing product concepts. Preparing the technical drawings and specification sheets for each product.
Prototyping - The raw materials chosen for the product developments were sent to my home through courier. The material was used by me for exploration and final prototyping.
