Jonny Syntax is a stylised biography of a fictional character; Jonny Syntax.

 

It revolves around his journey from being an isolated, cynical kid where his obsessions revolve around hatred and death. That is, until he discovers his love in life.

 

However, not all stories end with a happy ending.

 

This film was one of my first short films, made in 2009 while I was still a first year student at LASALLE College of The Arts. The entire film was shot there in 1 day with a budget of only S$40.
