Brand Visual Development / Poster Design

The Client
Paul Bassett is a premium coffee brand that uses premium specialty coffees from the top 7% of the world to provide customers with a 'perfect cup of coffee.' In collaboration with 2013 World Barista Champion Paul Bassett, they constantly strive for the best coffee recipes. They insist on the quality of coffee beans, optimal roasting, and meticulous manufacturing under the motto "No compromise with quality." It is a brand that provides customers with a pleasant time to relax with pride in the sincerity of coffee and superior quality.

The Objective
The goal was to convey the brand philosophy and sincerity to customers while delivering attractive and flexible visuals and to express the unique superiority of Paul Bassett's signature products with a poster to grab customers' attention. Unlike the existing brand visuals with barista pictures or infographics, we tried to develop an eye-catching graphic motif that can speak to customers clearly to promote brand content through various channels.

The Solution
Paul Bassett's graphic motif is designed to express a sophisticated sensibility that emphasizes a luxurious, eye-catching image. It was developed by visualizing the coffee-making process of a barista and raw materials of coffee, intuitively representing the brand's core products. With two primary colors reminiscent of coffee or raw materials, it delivers a premium cafe image. As a flexible graphic motif that can easily maintain tone and manner even if images and contents change, we proposed a scalable design that can be used for packages, SNS channels, and advertising media in addition to menu boards and wall posters.
