The Lizard Wizard - Part 1 & 2 | 3D Animation

Character Design
My creature is a sort of chameleon/lizard type. It lives in the forest yet is a great adventurer. With its trusty staff, it has the magical capabilities of a warlock for helping fellow creatures and is very observant with how much those eyes can look around. Cape is removable as it becomes a hazard in the job.
Environment - Project 1
Storyboard - Project 1
Project 1: "Prologue"
When animating the character, the original cloak didn't move well with the armature of my creature so I had to remove it. I'll probably try again with a cape -- something that isn't necessarily attached to my creature as clothing.
Project 2: "Chapter 1"
This project proved to be more difficult in terms of how much my computer could hold, with how many objects I was placing in my environment (how many vertices it created) and functionality in making the animation. This led to missing parts of the environment and animation -- portals, world & object lighting, spotlights, characters, special effects)
Missing parts include:
0:03 - a portal opens
0:50 - creature talks to a shopkeeper
1:22 - pauses to see supposed shopkeeper following
1:38 - shadows of suspicious figures appears instead of egg-shaped objects visibly coming down
Environment - Project 2
A cyberpunk scene with spotlights on various objects throughout, lots of neon lights, set to no HDRI to represent nighttime as the projected environment
