#2. Explainer Videos: Telling the Story, helping the customer.​​​​​​​

Playbooks and Events On the platform, I developed the concept of "PLAYBOOKS" to educate and coach entrepreneurs/business owners through the processes of "Developing an idea," "Starting a business," "Fundraising" and "Launching your business idea". These have been extremely successful with our B2C customers, prompting the creation of tailored playbooks in partnership with our B2B clients.

The last 18 months have been difficult, but we needed to make progress and maintain momentum, so my living room was transformed into a studio, and I became the interviewer. It was a great experience with a lot of learnings, but the most important thing was that we received a lot of viewer traction and interaction. 

The traction and success of TheStartup.com animated videos appealed to many and my colleague Justin and I helped other business partners by developing their user journeys.

Sally was a fantastic manager during my internship with TheStartup.com. She was able to create a cohesive and effective team despite everyone working remotely because of the pandemic and was incredibly supportive both when it came to work-related issues and personal ones. 

She is an extremely hardworking and intelligent marketeer with a deeply critical mindset. She is able to deliver on the operational aspects of the marketing profession while never losing perspective on the bigger strategical picture. She handled multiple projects at once without ever losing her keen attention to detail and grip on the wider situation. 

I have benefitted and learnt so much from working alongside Sally and being able to support her in the development and execution of the overall strategy for the launch of TheStartup.com.

I have worked very closely with Sally this year. Sally is a real professional who has excelled in her role, exhibiting one of the highest levels of leading skills I have seen in during my career.

As a product owner, I can easily say that Sally was amazing while leading the product and marketing collaboration. As a graphic designer, I found Sally an amazing “idea factory”. Her creativity is really impressive. She is not only able to come up with fresh new concepts continuously but is also capable of describing it effectively for people with visual brains like myself. In addition to that, Sally demonstrated an excellent ability to balance between clear branding message and the innovative ideas to demonstrate it. Her briefing for my creative works was always inspiring and challenging at the same time which results in a well-embraced and well-performing ads and social content. I have learnt a lot about marketing, working along side Sally.

I also worked with Sally in photoshoots and video-shoot events for a recent photo call and testimonials. Her experience in the PR industry along with her exceptional leadership skill empower her to manage any size of crew team well. While getting clear instruction and direction from Sally and working at her fast pace, we never felt stressed or left-behind.

On a personal level, Sally was more than my manager. She was always willing to lend a hand, giving advice and support me through my life as an expat from Vietnam.
