The thoughts I had from listening to kamandi skeletons was of someone who is troubled/saddened by an issue (acknowledgement) and how he confronts it.
I decided to reflect this in a dream sequence because dreams are the manifestations of thoughts with strong emotional ties. They result because we give thoughts power through emotion. Dream can be used as tool for self improvement/discovery if you let it, rather than being a visual trip for you to forget.
