Health Initiative for Men (HIM) operated two health centres in Metro Vancouver, offering STI testing, counselling services, and free condoms to gay men. Previously, the clinics did not have a consistent identity system. When the East Vancouver location moved, we were offered the opportunity to rebrand the clinics. The colour scheme reflects the HIM iconography for sexual and mental health services, and the branding reflects a welcoming community feel.
In 2014, the health centres expanded into the Fraser Valley. For the New Westminster and Surrey health clinics, we evolved the brand somewhat to feature overlay photos of city landmarks and a reversed out version of the logo. The new treatment continues the community/neighbourhood theme.
