I was requested to create a Stage visual for the old and famous TNMKs song "Granuly".
The main goal was to refresh the live performance with a new visual, that would support the mood and sense of the song.

At the same time it supposed to be gentle so the attention of the audience would travel in balance between visual and musicians.

This song tells about the metamorphoses that an individual gets through time.
The story is told through the young Native American, who explores his feelings about the outer world.

The refrain of this song says: “We were melting like the granules of ice”.
Due to this, I decided to take melted water as the main image in my animation.
An ice shape that was melted a second ago, but still has a recognizable form.

Everything here is the water that takes different shapes to guide the viewer through
the main images in the song - a Native Americans dance and characters, metamorphoses, bear, fish, birds.
I've made a research to understand this culture better. For example, the composition for fish
and eagle images below was taken from real drawings on Native Americans tambourines.
