Before I began this project I had never really done any serious sewing projects independently before, and therefore didn’t know the basics of sewing nor the techniques of a range of different stitches. I am however, now able to tell the difference between these stitches and how to incorporate them. I have also learnt how to realise my idea as a finished product - rather than focusing solely on digital processes. 

 

Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the new skills of which I have gained in this particular project, and have now found a new love for sewing and creating plush toys! 

 

I think that with my target market in mind, this project has been a success as it fufills the requirements of the brief and my personal aims. I used child-frendly materials and fire-safe stuffing to plump up the toy. Above all, my daughter absolutely adores it!
