RuPaul's Drag Race es un reality show americano que se ha expandido hasta tener versiones en países como España, Holanda y Tailandia. La gran influencia de este programa, junto con el increíble talento de sus concursantes, me inspiraron a crear ilustraciones de algunas de las drag queens más icónicas que han pasado
por la televisión.
RuPaul's Drag Race is an American reality show that has expanded to have versions in countries such as Spain, Holland and Thailand. The great influence of this show, along with the incredible talent of its contestants, inspired me to create illustrations of some of the most iconic drag queens to ever pass in television.

Proceso
Para esta serie de ilustraciones primero empiezo con bocetos hechos a lápiz y después realizo la limpieza en Photoshop. En ese mismo programa corrijo proporciones, agrego detalles, hago el entintado y el coloreado. Como es un tipo de ilustraciones ligeramente realistas, hago un degradado de las luces y sombras para tener un mejor acabado.
Process
For this series of illustrations I first start with pencil sketches and then clean them up in Photoshop. In that same program I correct proportions, add details, do the inking and coloring. As it is a slightly realistic type of illustration, I make a gradient of the lights and shadows to have a better finish.
