IRYUJON
Iryujon is illusion in Japanese, inspired by the origins of Shigeru Ban; the architect that influenced our design. Iryujon offers you a different perspective with every side you choose to view the table from. The cone shaped illusion itself can be used in a decorative manner to add lighting or plants or just leave it empty. Our design gives its user the chance to be creative and play around.
This table was designed by Yassmeen Ashraf, Hana El-Shimy and Mahinour Heiza under the supervision of professor Regine Ritz during their premasters year at the GUC. This project was created on the span of 8 months, the equivalent of two semesters.
