How does one photograph the energy that one senses in the middle of a forest?

In approaching this project, I needed a visual link that would enable me to capture and print the energy of each location. I was looking to create an emotional string between each forests / sanctuary.
In nature, we instinctively feel the concepts of cycles, interaction, symbolism, and philosophy.  Man and his industries must find a balance in order to create a positive human modus operandi with respect to the environment.
In the graphic composition of this project, I chose to proceed according to the proverb: “The sky is round, the Earth is square.”

The perfection of the circle

Without beginning or end, without fluctuations, the circle symbolizes time and heaven. The circle was used by the Babylonians to measure time. It was divided into 360 degrees, which consisted of six segments of 60 degrees each. The square symbolizes man and the Earth. Together, the circle and the square represent the harmony of a pair of opposites. They also symbolize the ascent of the imperfect towards the perfect. In Mecca, by circling the cube-shaped Kaaba, the pilgrims are figuratively squaring the circle.
Through this multimedia project, I have aimed to portray a mediterranean country’s forests, Lebanon. Trees are our natural heritage. We have put them in danger over the centuries, and we have inherited them in a state of advanced fragility.
We possess all the means and knowledge that are required to better manage our relationship with nature. Ecology is not just a profitable industry; it is also an industry of the future. By adopting a constructive and participative approach to nature, we can assure not only a better future for our children, but also more sustainable economic growth.
