1903 ZINE-MANIFESTO
PT - O zine 1903, com o trecho final de “BB King” de Baco Exu do Blues, tenta trazer a expressividade do texto - e a personalidade do próprio Blues, por processos manuais e algumas experimentações com texturas feitas à mão. O trecho é um convite a entender que pretos são autores, poetas, pintores, músicos e diversos em nossas particularidades. Qualquer tentativa de estereotipar o povo preto é, no mínimo, falta de Blues.
A narrativa também está na relação com o objeto, por meio do gesto. Com dobradura e encadernação específicas, o leitor teria que cortar as páginas (como quem usa um canivete) para poder ler todo o conteúdo.
EN - The 1903 zine, with the final excerpt of “BB King” by Baco Exu do Blues, tries to bring the expressiveness of the manifesto - and Blues rhythm itself, through manual processes, and with some handmade textures. The passage is an invitation to understand that we, black people, are authors, poets, painters, musicians and whatever else we want. We are diverse in our particularities, and any attempt to put black people as equals among themselves is, at the very least, a lack of Blues.
The narrative is also in the relationship with the object, through the gesture. With specific folding and binding, the reader would have to cut the pages (like someone using a pocket knife) to be able to read all the content.
