The hidden face cannot get there from here, butyou can get there by taking one step at a time. There are no short cuts or bigleaps that will get you there any faster. It will take the time it takes; but,you will get there if you are persistent and consistent with your efforts. Eachstep is an important one, and one not to be missed. Although the end goal isimportant, it is only one part of the journey. In the first thought, a contrastis created when the “light of the mind” is “cold and planetary” instead ofgiving warmth and protection. The diction “flying light” usually flying oneinto a sense of security and reassures one’s safety, as the the hidden face ofthe light would make things seem clear and reveals any hidden or suspiciousthings. However, in this case, the flying light does not relate to people andseems aloof and cold, just like the distant relationship between the speakerand the society.
Life has somehow gotten hold of wisdom, ofinformation, that taught it to take energy from its environment, to concentratethat energy, and with it to build and maintain the meaningful complexity of thethe hidden face.
When Idid the hidden face, I was thinking about ideas of the formation of charactersin the relation of narratives and then started meditating on the value ofperformance to address these particular issues. So I decided to create asituation where there would be hidden faces, each of them related to one ofthe pending I was working in. The mindwith the red stripe in the distant addresses minimally the idea, which I amalso very interested in. And in both parts there is also the obliteration offaces and characters.
