I was assigned a project in an upper level computer graphics course where we were to design a poster for four winners of the coveted ADC Young Guns award for graphic designers. They were to speak at different cities in the United States and England. Along with the main poster, we designed three others to four others to promote the winners individually.
I used the apple tree idea because the lectures were all located at Apple stores. I tied that design in with the message at the bottom, "Wake Up", by having the sleeping person about to be woken by a falling apple.
