SweetRide Transportation

SweetRide Transportation is a current and evolving project that grew out of the needs of the Covid pandemic. As a startup company, the fit and feel of the brand can change lanes at any time as new avenues open up. At the heart of the company, the idea was to create a brand that had a playful luxury look to help elevate itself from the competition and follow the ideals of a fully electric lineup providing cost free rides to their customers in the Hershey, Pennsylvania area.

The brand approach included creating company name, identity, and feel of this new venture. Of course being in Chocolate Town USA, we explored a variety of playful references to Hershey, all while coordinating the approvals with the township and corporations by business owners Chase Kozlowski and Mike Kucharski.

And as an advocate of puns, a Sweet resolution was created....
With an all electric fleet, we chose a pallet that could create contrast and vibrancy that could easily catch your eye as the vehicles drove around town. A modern script font was chosen to give the feel of a modern luxury that would carry the next level kind of service that company providing.

Along with the logo and brand, a vehicle wrap was needed to catch the customers eye as it drove down the road. By using a vector of the streets of Hershey, it not only shows the roots of the company but provides a hometown pride as we continue to put SweetRide Transportation on the map. For me, this wrap was the most challenging piece of the project with coordinating the size and specs of a vehicle that I did not have in person working on the other side of the state. This really emphasized the need to coordinate with the wrap printing company to make sure that the material tolerances provided enough surface area to take a 2 dimensional print and fully cover a 3 dimensional vehicle. Through trial and error, we were able to print a wrap that looked great and could grab the attention of current and future customers.
As the project continued during the midst of Covid, the business model began to shift from the original mindset of a intown ride share service to a food delivery service to help serve the needs of the residents and local restaurants downtown. As we began to gain some awareness of a free to customer delivery service for the locals, a series of pop up delivery take overs were used to gain buzz and attraction to SweetRide and its new SweetSavor delivery service.

As this is a continuous project, when a new piece of digital or print media is needed, I have to continue to stay flexible and provide deliverables that not only fit the brand also look forward to future potential needs.
Be on the lookout for future updates as this company continues to grow!
