To design a residential project for Daniel Wu at Chimes Rimbayu, Jalan Jlora 3E, No 25, Jalan Flora 3E/10 Taman Rimbayu, 41200, Selangor with the size of 2179 square feet.
Client brief
Daniel Wu is an American-born Hong Kong actor, director, producer, and screenwriter who stars in the movie. The New Police Story with the legendary actor, Jackie Chan. He is a family-oriented person and sets his priorities straight. Daniel Wu is willing to do anything to create a better life for Raven - his daughter. Daniel Wu has always had a particular interest in vintage cars. More specifically the Datsun 510, which is said to develop 235 horsepower. The keywords abstracted from my concept, cars, are movement, direction, and horsepower.

Concept Statement
Horsepower is the term of measurement for power of a car engine. Horsepower is defined as the power that a horse gives when pulling, and it is used informally to mean power. The engine ultimately is and how far the force of the engine can push it. The force of an engine is what you feel when you accelerate and is known as a torque. The keyword movement was chosen as a car exhausts fumes when driving. The fumes will diffuse through the air and every moment will capture a different image from the movement of molecules through the air. The last keyword that I have chosen is direction. Sense of direction while driving a car is essential, it ensures that the pathway taken is correct. Moreover, direction relates to cars as there is the driving force and air resistance.
The main attraction to the house is the home cinema. In terms of movement, it is important for Wu’s guests to have a clear access and have a good human circulation to the room. For example, the guests are only allowed to walk through the ground floor, thus it must be a smooth circulation to impress the guests as Wu’s main priority is family and the house has a larger private space. Direction can be implemented into the interior by ensuring an obvious relation of each room next to each other and providing an uncomplicated layout plan. Horsepower can be applied to the house by using elements of force, strength, speed to make architectural structures to beautify the interior space.
