End Wildlife Crime

End Wildlife Crime is a global initiative to address serious gaps in international law relating to the problems of wildlife crime and trade. It is an alliance of individuals and organisations that support the need for sustainability in wildlife trade. This initiative alliance is hosted by ADM Capital Foundation, overseen by a small steering group, and is chaired by John Scanlon AO, former Secretary General of CITES.

End Wildlife Crime’s starting point is that the status quo is not an option. They emphasise on the need for transformative change in international laws as a means to address the challenges faced by the environment.

We were commissioned to develop the visual identity as well as a responsive website for them.

The design approach is direct and punchy.
No fuss, no distractions, the logomark is the mission: take out the crime, highlight wildlife animals’ preservation.

We draw inspiration from crossed out legal documents and highlight marker strokes as part of the initiative’s endeavours would be focused on legislation. Yellow is picked as main brand colour for its vibrancy, as well as cognitive relation to alertness.
