The name "Courtyard House" came from the idea to provide 1 courtyard for each apartment in the project.
The addition is a concrete-finish building on an existing local stone house for the parents.
The white finish technique of the plastering brought from Egyptian way of adding sheed. The result is almost white while adding "zero" costs.
The 1st floor contains 2 apartments separated by the stairwell & an entrance courtyards, giving the feeling of on-ground residence rather than a flat.
Each flat completely open with larch glass facades to its courtyards. In summary, the house contains 3 open-to-sky isolated & private courtyards for three flats.
